A telesales role focused on selling life insurance telephonically through outbound calls. The Sales Agent is responsible for achieving sales targets, adhering to quality and compliance processes, managing client relationships, and staying updated on industry developments. Responsibilities

• Sell life insurance telephonically.
• Achieve sales targets.
• Adhere to Quality and Compliance processes to minimize business risk.
• Manage quality and compliance against benchmarks with the client in mind.
• Maintain optimal operational efficiencies based on productivity measures.
• Adapt to changing business operational requirements.
• Handle sales objections.
• Build and maintain good client relationships.
• Manage information regarding new products, rulings, training updates, etc.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and trends (self-learning).
• Ensure commitment to FAIS Fit & Proper qualification requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 qualification.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years' experience within a sales outbound call centre selling long-term insurance (with attached sales targets).
• Knowledge & Skills:
• Good understanding of Financial Services industry legislation and regulation.
• Understanding of sales processes and the servicing industry.
• Outbound Sales experience is required.
• Fluency in English and one other South African official language.
• A clear criminal and credit record.
• Commitment to the FAIS Act and meeting Fit & Proper qualification requirements.
• Willingness to work overtime to achieve targets.
• Fully computer literate.
